We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator skilled technician responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precise and accurate parts and components. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining processes. The CNC Machine Operator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor or Production Manager and collaborates closely with the machining and production teams.
Proficiency in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines, including understanding control panels, tool changers, and work-holding devices.
Understanding of machining principles, tooling concepts, and cutting parameters to optimize production processes.
A keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of produced parts.
Basic understanding of machine maintenance andtroubleshooting.
Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform manual tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions during production.
Good communication skills for collaboration with team members and supervisors.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
CNC Laser Operators typically work in manufacturing facilities or workshops. The role may require standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. The work environment may include noise from machinery and exposure to laser light, fumes, and other potential hazards. Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate PPE is crucial to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
